The main scientific direction-actual problems of endodontics, clinical, immunological, microbiological studies in patients with chronic foci of infection in the maxillofacial region, including those with concomitant diseases of the organs and systems of the body, as well as improving the methods of complex diagnosis, therapy and rehabilitation of patients with diseases of hard tissues of teeth, pulp and periapical tissues.

Professor Mitronin has more than 750 scientific works, 2 editions of the textbook, 7 manuals for doctors; 13 monographs, 19 guidelines and manuals for students and doctors, as well as 12 editions of books - Typical test tasks for the final state certification of graduates of higher medical schools in the specialty "Dentistry". Author of 7 inventions of Russia. The H – Index Is 16. Repeated training in the specialty in Switzerland, Germany. Certificate of the specialist "therapeutic Stomatology". Head of the polyclinic Department of "Therapeutic dentistry-2". Highly qualified doctor, in the work uses modern methods of diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with various pathologies of the dental system. Conducts extensive consulting work at the University and Moscow, as the chief freelance specialist-dentist of the Department of Health of Moscow. In practical work uses modern technologies of endodontic treatment and aesthetic dentistry. Diagnostic and therapeutic methods protected by patents for invention have been developed and introduced into clinical practice. Medical activity is estimated by assignment of honorary titles: "Honored doctor of Russia", "Honored dentist".

Development of educational programs in Dentistry, in accordance with the GEF specialty Dentistry. Performance of work on training, continuous medical education and advanced training of dentists in Moscow and Russia. Russian specialized scientific and practical dental journal " Endodontology today" was founded in 2001 and is publishing regularly by "Poly Media Press". Its first editor-in-chief was M. D., Professor, head. the Department of pediatric dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University A.M. Solovieva. In 2011 the editorial was headed by M.D., honored doctor of the Russian FederationHead of the Department of  therapeutic dentistry of cariesology and endodontics, Dean of the faculty of dentistry of Moscow State Medical and Dental University Professor A. Author Guidelines

Manuscripts are submitted to the Editor via " Endodontology today” Online Submission and Editorial System in accordance with its requirements on the preparation of papers. Please visit the Instructions to Authors in order to submit the manuscript correctly. The journal accepts the following types of publications:

Original article

The article should present the results of the complete study. Manuscript should not exceed 20 typeset pages including figures, tables and references.

The article must include the following sections: the relevance of the research topic, purpose, materials and methods, summary and references.

Relevance of the research reflects the key points of the study

Purpose includes aims and objectives of the work.

Materials and methods are presented in separate paragraphs with short subtitles. All nonstandard and noncommercial tests, methods and techniques should be described with enough detail. It is necessary for all reagents, animals, cell cultures etc. used in the research to indicate its producers and/or sources (the names of country, company and institute)

Summary in logical sequence in separate paragraphs divided by subtitles, without discussions, repetition of methods, duplication of digital data presented in tables and figures. The detailed data analysis of the research is presented against literature data. This provides validation of authors’ conclusions and findings.

References should contain at least 10 references. Each source must be placed on a new line with its own sequence number. The works in the list are listed in the order of citation, not in alphabetical order.

Articles

The journal publishes short research articles of absolute novelty and significance.

These articles are peer-reviewed and published in short terms.

The volume is limited to 8 typeset pages with no more than 3 figures and/or tables. References should be limited to 15.The title page is organized as noted below. Brief communication is organized as described for original article above but no subheadings are allowed. Results can be included in Discussion section.

Do not include references to theses, synopses of theses or papers collections, local guidance documents. Number of sources is unlimited. The names of all authors of the paper should be listed in each reference. Do not include unpublished works in the reference list.

Symbols, abbreviations and units of measurement

No more than 3-5 nonstandard abbreviations for frequently used compound terms and names must be defined in the parenthesis at first occurrence of the terms. Standard abbreviations are used in relevant transcriptions. For example for  term ‘interleukin’ the abbreviation ‘IL’ is used no Russian version ‘ИЛ’, as well as, no ‘ТНФ’or ‘ФНО’ but ‘TNF’, no ‘СД’ but ‘CD’. Names of germs are presented in original transcription in italics (E. coli, Streptococcus pyogenes). Units of measurement are used without dot after standard abbreviations (s, h, cm, mg, ml, kDa, etc.).

Artwork

Artwork should be original (have not been already published) It should be no more than 8 illustrations (tables and figures) in the article. The publication of large amount of illustrations is paid by the author.

Publication of color illustrations (regardless the number of illustrations) also is paid by the author.

Illustration size:

·         maximum height – 210 mm

·         maximum width for one column – 82 mm, for two columns – 170 mm

Tables Each table is submitted in a separate file. Tables are numbered in Arabic numerals independently of figures (graphs and photographs). Title is placed above the table. In tables you should use one or several asterisks (*) for footnotes. Explanation is typed after respective number of asterisks (*) beneath the table. Units of measurement, if necessary, are included in lines’ and columns’ headings.

Figures (graphs and photographs) In the text figures’ (graphs’ and photographs’) and table’ titles are placed immediately after the paragraph containing its first reference. All figures are numbered consequently in Arabic numerals according to their sequence in the text. Figures’ titles and notes should be listed in a separate file. In the list should be stated the following: figure’s number, title (capitalized), text of the notes (for microphotographs magnification should be specified). Captions should be short but sufficiently informative. Figures may be submitted in tiff (a resolution at least 300 dpi at 100% scale), .esp or .ai formats. Image data embedded in Word file will not be accepted. Graphs and diagrams are submitted together with the tables on which they were created, or with number identification of indexes represented by respective graphical elements (columns, sectors etc.). in .doc or,  preferably, in .xls file.

Payment for publication

Publication is free for authors and the institution subject to the publication rules of "Endodontology today". The editors may demand payment in following cases 1) publication of color illustrations; 2) large amount of image data (more than 8 figures).

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. Submitting an article authors guarantee that presented data haven’t been formerly published in whole or in part in any form, place or language. Authors also guarantee that a manuscript hasn’t been submitted to other journals. After a manuscript is accepted to publication in the « Endodontology today » it cannot be published in whole or in part in any form, place or language without journal administration approval. Exceptions can be made in following cases: 1) preliminary or subsequent publication of article material in thesis format or in the form of an abstract; 2) data presented in a manuscript is used as part of a lecture or review; 3) author uses data presented in a manuscript in his dissertation, book or monograph. Presentation of a publication in whole or in part in any form is not allowed without written publisher permission. Violation of the law will be prosecuted. Protected by RF law № 5351-1 «Copyright and related rights» from 09.07.93. 
2. The file containing manuscript should be in .doc, .docx or .rtf format.
3. Apart from the file containing manuscript the following files should also be provided: 

1) Metadata file (it is entitled “Metadata” when you upload this file to the system):

o    Surname, name, family name, academic degree, academic status, position of author in charge of further communication with the editors (in Russian and English languages).

o    Name of an institution where author in charge works (both Russian and official English variants).

o    Mail address and postal index for further correspondence (in Russian and English languages) 

o    Phone number, fax number (indicating country and city code), e-mail.

o    Surname and initials of the other co-authors, their academic degrees, academic statuses and positions.

o    Full name of a submitted manuscript.

o    Number of pages, number of figures and number of tables. 

o    Indicate an appropriate journal part for your work: lecture, review, original article, short message. 

o    Submission date.

2) Scanned copy of metadata file signed by all authors (it is entitled “Authors’ signatures” when you upload this file to the system).

3) Title page (it is entitled “Title page” when you upload this file to the system, according to following form:

o    Name of a manuscript (full-length name) (in Russian and English languages);

o    Surname, name, family name, academic degree, academic status, position of all authors (full-length) (in Russian and English languages);

o    Name of department and institution where the work was conducted (In case authors are from different institutions, institutions should be enumerated by order starting from number 1, respective figure is placed after author’s name representing the institution. In English part of an article Latin letters (a, b, c, d etc.) are used for marking instead of figures;

o    contracted name of a manuscript for a header (35 symbols maximum, including spaces and punctuation marks) (in Russian and English languages);

o    6 key words minimum in both Russian and English languages;

o    address for further correspondence indicating phone number, fax number and e-mail address.

4) Abstract (it is entitled “Abstract” when you upload this file to the system) in one paragraph without references and specific acronyms for a minimum of 300 words. Abstract in full also should be represented in English. In particular cases by the decision of editorial board an expanded version of abstract in English can be requested.

5) Figures, if any, each in a separate file (it is entitled “Figure. Figure name (figure name should comply with figure name in the file). Figure sequence number.” when you upload this file to the system)

6) A file in .doc, .docx or .rtf format with a list containing figure number, title (capitilized), comments (for microphotographs magnification should be specified). Captions should be short but sufficiently informative. 

7) Tables, if any - each in a separate file (Name of each table should be written in a title of the file containing this table)

8) File containing list of references (it is entitled “Literature” when you upload this file to the system) according to following form:

1. Text is typed with one and a half line spacing using the font at 14 points; the text employs italics, rather than underlining as emphasis (except for Internet addresses); all references on illustrations, diagrams and tables are in respective places in text rather than at the end of the document.
2. The text corresponds to all stylistic and bibliographic standards, described in Authors Guidelines, located on “About journal” page.

Peer-Review An unilateral anonymous ("blind") peer review method is mandatory for processing of all scientific manuscripts submitted to the editorial stuff of "Endodontology today". This implies that neither the reviewer is aware of the authorship of the manuscript, nor the author maintains any contact with the reviewer. Members of the editorial board and leading Russian and international experts in corresponding areas of life sciences, invited as independent readers, perform peer reviews. Editor-in-chief or deputy editor-in-chief choose readers for peer review. We aim to limit the review process to 2 weeks, though in some cases the schedule may be adjusted at the reviewer’s request. Each article is sent to two reviewers. Reviewer has an option to abnegate the assessment should any conflict of interests arise that may affect perception or interpretation of the manuscript. Upon the scrutiny, the reviewer is expected to present the editorial board with one of the following recommendations: - to accept the paper in its present state; - to invited the author to revise their manuscript to address specific concerns before final decision is reached; - that final decision be reached following further reviewing by another specialist; - to reject the manuscript outright. If the reviewer has recommended any refinements, the editorial staff would suggest the author either to implement the corrections, or to dispute them reasonably. Authors are kindly required to limit their revision to 2 months and resubmit the adapted manuscript within this period for final evaluation. We politely request that the editor be notified verbally or in writing should the author decide to refuse from publishing the manuscript. In case the author fails to do so within 3 months since receiving a copy of the initial review, the editorial board takes the manuscript off the register and notifies the author accordingly. If author and reviewers meet insoluble contradictions regarding revision of the manuscript, the editor-in-chief resolves the conflict by his own authority. The editorial board reaches final decision to reject a manuscript on the hearing according to reviewers’ recommendations, and duly notifies the authors of their decision via e-mail. The board does not accept previously rejected manuscripts for re-evaluation. Upon the decision to accept the manuscript for publishing, the editorial staff notifies the authors of the scheduled date of publication. Kindly note that positive review does not guarantee the acceptance, as final decision in all cases lies with the editorial board. By his authority, editor-in-chief rules final solution of every conflict. Original reviews of submitted manuscripts remain deposited for 5 years.

Publishing Ethics  1. Introduction 1.1. The publication in a peer reviewed learned journal, serves many purposes outside of simple communication. It is a building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. For all these reasons and more it is important to lay down standards of expected ethical behaviour by all parties involved in the act of publishing: the author, the journal editor, the peer reviewer, the publisher and the society for society-owned or sponsored journal: " Endodontology today” 1.2.Publisher has a supporting, investing and nurturing role in the scholarly communication process but is also ultimately responsible for ensuring that best practice is followed in its publications. 1.3.Publisher takes its duties of guardianship over the scholarly record extremely seriously. Our journal programmes record «the minutes of science» and we recognise our responsibilities as the keeper of those «minutes» in all our policies not least the ethical guidelines that we have here adopted. 2. Duties of Editors 2.1.Publication decision – The Editor of a learned " Endodontology today” is solely and independently responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published, often working on conjunction with the relevant society (for society-owned or sponsored journals). The validation of the work in question and its importance to researchers and readers must always underwrite such decisions. The Editor may be guided by the policies of the " Endodontology today” journal’s editorial board and constrained by such legal requirements as shall then be in force regarding libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism. The editor may confer with other editors or reviewers (or society officers) in making this decision. 2.2.Fair play – An editor should evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors. 2.3.Confidentiality – The editor and any editorial staff of " Endodontology today” must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate. 2.4.Disclosure and Conflicts of interest 2.4.1. Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in an editor’s own research without the express written consent of the author. Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage. 2.4.2. Editors should recuse themselves (i.e. should ask a co-editor, associate editor or other member of the editorial board instead to review and consider) from considering manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or (possibly) institutions connected to the papers. 2.5.Vigilance over published record – An editor presented with convincing evidence that the substance or conclusions of a published paper are erroneous should coordinate with the publisher (and/or society) to promote the prompt publication of a correction, retraction, expression of concern, or other note, as may be relevant. 2.6.Involvement and cooperation in investigations – An editor should take reasonably responsive measures when ethical complaints have been presented concerning a submitted manuscript or published paper, in conjunction with the publisher (or society). Such measures will generally include contacting the author of the manuscript or paper and giving due consideration of the respective complaint or claims made, but may also include further communications to the relevant institutions and research bodies. 3.    Duties of Reviewers 3.1.Contribution to Editorial Decisions – Peer review assists the editor in making editorial decisions and through the editorial communications with the author may also assist the author in improving the paper. Peer review is an essential component of formal scholarly communication, and lies at the heart of the scientific method. Publisher  shares the view of many that all scholars who wish to contribute to publications have an obligation to do a fair share of reviewing. 3.2.Promptness – Any selected referee who feels unqualified to review the research reported in a manuscript or knows that its prompt review will be impossible should notify the editor of " Endodontology today” and excuse himself from the review process. 3.3.Confidentiality – Any manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. They must not be shown to or discussed with others except as authorised by the editor. 3.4.Standard and objectivity – Reviews should be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Referees should express their views clearly with supporting arguments. 3.5.Acknowledgement of Sources – Reviewers  should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Any statement that an observation, derivation, or argument had been previously reported should be accompanied by the relevant citation. A reviewer should also call to the editor’s attention any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under consideration and any other published paper of which they have personal knowledge. 3.6.Disclosure and Conflict of Interest 3.6.1. Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in a reviewer’s own research without the express written consent of the author. Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage. 3.6.2. Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers. 4. Duties of Authors 4.1.Reporting standards 4.1.1. Authors of reports of original research should present an accurate account of the work performed as well as an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying data should be represented accurately in the paper. A paper should contain sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behaviour and are unacceptable. 4.1.2. Review and professional publication articles should also be accurate and objective, and editorial 'opinion’ works should be clearly identified as such. 4.2.Data Access and Retention – Authors may be asked to provide the raw data in connection with a paper for editorial review, and should be prepared to provide public access to such data (consistent with the ALPSP-STM Statement on Data and Databases), if practicable, and should in any event be prepared to retain such data for a reasonable time after publication. 4.3.Originality and Plagiarism 4.3.1. The authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others, this has been appropriately cited or quoted. 4.3.2. Plagiarism takes many forms, from ‘passing off’ another’s paper as the author’s own paper, to copying or paraphrasing substantial parts of another’s paper (without attribution), to claiming results from research conducted by others. Plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical publishing behaviour and is unacceptable. 4.4.Multiple, Redundant or Concurrent Publication 4.4.1. An author should not in general publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal of primary publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behaviour and is unacceptable. 4.4.2. In general, an author should not submit for consideration in another journal a previously published paper. 4.4.3. Publication of some kinds of articles (eg, clinical guidelines, translations) in more than one journal is sometimes justifiable, provided certain conditions are met. The authors and editors of the journals concerned must agree to the secondary publication, which must reflect the same data and interpretation of the primary document. The primary reference must be cited in the secondary publication. Further detail on acceptable forms of secondary publication can be found at www.icmje.org. 4.5.Acknowledgement of Sources – Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given. Authors should cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the reported work. Information obtained privately, as in conversation, correspondence, or discussion with third parties, must not be used or reported without explicit, written permission from the source. Information obtained in the course of confidential services, such as refereeing manuscripts or grant applications, must not be used without the explicit written permission of the author of the work involved in these services. 4.6.Authorship of the Paper 4.6.1. Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study. All those who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors. Where there are others who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, they should be acknowledged or listed as contributors. 4.6.2. The corresponding author should ensure that all appropriate co-authors and no inappropriate co-authors are included on the paper, and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed to its submission for publication. 4.7.Hazards and Human or Animal Subjects 4.7.1. If the work involves chemicals, procedures or equipment that have any unusual hazards inherent in their use, the author must clearly identify these in the manuscript. 4.7.2. If the work involves the use of animal or human subjects, the author should ensure that the manuscript contains a statement that all procedures were performed in compliance with relevant laws and institutional guidelines and that the appropriate institutional committee(s) have approved them. Authors should include a statement in the manuscript that informed consent was obtained for experimentation with human subjects. The privacy rights of human subjects must always be observed. 4.8. Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest 4.8.1. All authors should disclose in their manuscript any financial or other substantive conflict of interest that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support for the project should be disclosed. 4.8.2. Examples of potential conflicts of interest which should be disclosed include employment, consultancies, stock ownership, honoraria, paid expert testimony, patent applications/registrations, and grants or other funding. Potential conflicts of interest should be disclosed at the earliest possible stage. 4.9. Fundamental errors in published works – When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in a published work, it is the author’s obligation to promptly notify the editor or publisher of "Endodontology today” journal and cooperate with Publisher to retract or correct the paper, If the editor or the publisher learn from a third party that a published work contains a significant error, it is the obligation of the author to promptly retract or correct the paper. 5. Duties of the Publisher (and if relevant, Society) 5.1. Publisher  should adopt policies and procedures that support editors, reviewers and authors of "Endodontology today” in performing their ethical duties under these ethics guidelines. The publisher should ensure that the potential for advertising or reprint revenue has no impact or influence on editorial decisions. 5.2. Publisher should support "Endodontology today” editors in the review of complaints raised concerning ethical issues and help communications with other journals and/or publishers where this is useful to editors. 5.3. Publisher should develop codes of practice and inculcate industry standards for best practice on ethical matters, errors and retractions. 5.4. Publisher  should provide specialised legal review and counsel if necessary. Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage. Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers.  Plagiarism detection "Endodontology today” use native russian-language plagiarism detection software Antiplagiat to screen the submissions. If plagiarism is identified, the COPE guidelines on plagiarism will be followed.  Preprint and postprint Policy Prior to acceptance and publication in "Endodontology today”, authors may make their submissions available as preprints on personal or public websites. As part of submission process, authors are required to confirm that the submission has not been previously published, nor has been submitted. After a manuscript has been published in "Endodontology today” we suggest that the link to the article on journal's website is used when the article is shared on personal or public websites. Glossary (by SHERPA) Preprint - In the context of Open Access, a preprint is a draft of an academic article or other publication before it has been submitted for peer-review or other quality assurance procedure as part of the publication process. Preprints cover initial and successive drafts of articles, working papers or draft conference papers. Postprint - The final version of an academic article or other publication - after it has been peer-reviewed and revised into its final form by the author. The procedure of review of the articles in scientific journal for dentists of "Endodontology today"

All articles received by the Editorial Board of the journal "Endodontology today" pass peer review.

1. The manuscript of a scientific article received by Editorial Board is considered by the Executive Secretary for compliance with the profile of the Journal and registered. Executive Secretary sends the article for review to one or, if necessary, to two reviewers.

2. To carry out the review of the manuscript reviewers may be engaged from members of the Editorial Board, or they can be other highly skilled professionals with profound knowledge and experience in a particular scientific field with a scientific rank not lower than Doctor of Science.

4. Reviewers are notified that the manuscripts sent to them are the private property of the authors, and the information inside is not subject to disclosure. Reviewers are not allowed to make copies of the articles for their needs. The review is conducted confidentially. Breach of confidentiality is only possible if the reviewer claim that the materials contained in the article are not true or subject to falsification. Professionals working in the same institution where the work is performed are not involved in reviewing.

5. The copies will be sent to the authors of the article at their request. The originals of the reviews are kept in the Editorial Board for 3 (three) years from the date of the article publication and can be provided to the Expert Board of Higher Attestation Commission (VAK) upon request.

6. We review all incoming materials in our magazine corresponding to their categories, for their expert evaluation. All reviewers are acknowledged experts on the subject of the reviewed materials and they have peer-reviewed articles on the subject for the last 3 years. All reviews are kept in our publishing house and editorial office within 5 years.

7. If in the review of the article there is an indication that it is to be revised/reworked, then the article is sent to the authors for revision. In this case the date of return of the modified article is considered the date of its receipt by Editorial Board.

8. Article sent to the authors for revision should be returned in modified form as soon as possible. The revised manuscript should be accompanied by a letter from the authors, containing the answers to all comments and explaining all the changes made in the article.

9. If an article by the recommendation of the reviewer has undergone substantial changes, it is sent for secondary review to the same reviewer who made critical remarks.

10. The editors reserve the right to reject the article in case of the author's inability or unwillingness to take into account the wishes of the Editorial Board.

11. In case of getting the negative reviews to the manuscript from two different reviewers, or one negative review of its revised version, the article is rejected without review by other members of the Editorial Board.

12. In case of disagreement with the opinion of the reviewer the author has the right to give a reasoned response to the Journal. The article can be sent to a secondary review or to the Editorial Board for approval.

13. After reviewing the decision whether the material is subject to publish is taken by the Chief Editor of the Journal, or, if necessary, by the Editorial Board.

14. The Executive Secretary informs the author about the taken decision.

15. All reviews for the articles of the journal of "Endodontology today" are stored in the Editorial Board and Publishing House of «Poly Media Press» for 5 (five) years.

16. The maximum review period between the date of theh receipt of the the manuscript by the Editors and making the Editorial Board’s decision is 2 (two) months.

Rules applicable to the reviews of the scientific article

The task of peer review is to promote a strict selection of authors' manuscripts for publication and offering specific recommendations for their improvement.

The review should objectively assess the scientific article and to provide a comprehensive analysis of its scientific and methodological advantages and disadvantages.

The recommended volume of the reviews is up to 2 typed pages or nearly 5,000 characters (with spaces).

Requirements for the content of review of a scientific article

The reviewer should:

1. To determine a compliance of the material presented in the article with the profile of the Journal.

2. To assess the relevance of the content of the article: whether the level of the material compared with the modern achievements of science and technology.

3. To assess the significance of the results of research (scientific, practical).

4. To specify how the material of the article meets the requirements: volume of the article, the abstracts in Russian and English, the bibliography and references to it in the text, and others.

5. To give a qualitative and/or quantitative evaluation of the material presented in the article:

- factual;

- illustrative.

6. To assess the completeness and accuracy of the data presented.

7.To assess the accuracy and used (or newly entered) definitions and wordings.

8. To assess the literary style of the material.

9. To give sound conclusions about the article as a whole, notes, and, if necessary, recommendations for its improvement.

The complex of specified issues is general in nature. Each article requires an individual approach to the selection criteria for its evaluation.

The final section of the review resulted of the analysis of the article should contain a clear recommendation to its publication: whether it should be published in the original form, or it needs revision or reworking (with constructive remarks), or it’s publication in the Journal is unreasonable.
